Dropping in to say I’m still alive and having a blast teaching my art students this summer! Batch 2 is nearing its end and while I may get tired after a hard day’s work, I’m incredibly happy about what I do.
To relax after teaching and finally finishing a friend’s commission, I cut, rolled, glued, varnished, and assembled my first officially complete paper bead bracelet in the colors of Young Artists’ Studio. I plan to make more for my co-teachers too. :D
I say it’s my first assembled bracelet because I still have a bunch of beads I made last year that I have yet to varnish and put together into accessories of their own. I’ve finally settled on a varnish to use and so expect more paper bead jewelry soon!
(Also featuring my snazzy nail polish and new comfy pajamas! The simple pleasures of life~)

Day 083
Watching the Lupin III movie
by Studio Ghiblithat Miyazaki helped out in and saw a bunch of fan-art yesterday, so I wanted to try making a quickie too!- Mel
Did you know the local Philippine dub pronounced it Loo-pin and not Lu-pan? Watching the Japanese dub is taking me time to get used to. Ahhh, childhood.

Day 064
I’ve always had trouble with gesture drawing and making my lines more fluid, so I watched a Gesture Drawing Video Guide to refersh myself and better understand the thought process behind it.
Here’s a set of 30 gesture drawings, each done in a minute. Not bad! I’ll do more when I can.

![Sugar, spice, and everything nice~ these were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect trio.
But a professor accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction… BUBBLE MILK TEA.
[DRAMATIC EXPLOSION]
Thus Krinkadinel was born!
Using their ultra super powers, Krinkle, Nadine, and Mel are teaching kids how to draw, and the power of artworkkkk! * w *
… yes this came about because our favorite colors are blue, green, and pink~ I’m going to ink and color these when I’m feeling less like a zombie XD
